Not even correct. Since the DOJ acted like fools the judge is hesitant to approve it yet. Had he wanted to he could have denied it and DIDN'T!

The very limited character count makes it hard to pass on complex ideas in a short headline.
Judge Lane denied confirmation of the reorg plan today.
Yes, the confirmation could be approved later, but was denied today.
The net result is that the reorg plan is still in play, but the legal outcome for today is that the confirmation was in fact denied. Again, hard to convey complexities with just a few characters in a headline.

AMR Corporation does not trade on the NYSE while they have been in bankruptcy. They currently trade on the over the counter markets (OTC) under the ticker symbol AAMRQ.
