Yes, j/s is free for commuters. IIRC, j/s is your *only* option on probation. Maybe it's changed, I don't know. Are you saying that the airline you work for and possibly commuting to do a trip for would leave you behind with empty seats? Possibly canceling the flight you were supposed to do?
