How will this affect recent interviews?

Anyone know?

Your post shouldn't affect interviews at all, I would think.

They still have interviews lined up this week. I would think youd be fine still. You may go to training in DFW instead of PHX.

There was a rumor that indoc was going to start to be held in DFW starting February.

Seems to make sense, since my understanding is that we will be doing things the American way. It will take a little while to switch over PHX and CLT, but not too long.

As for continued hiring, i don't think the asset divestatures put to big a dent in it.

AA has a limited presence in Asia/Australia/Africa that needs to be grown.

This potential growth may more than offset reductions of overlaping frequency via aircraft up-gauging.

I can't imagine anything changing for several years. Putting together the largest airline in the world - I'd think would keep management busy enough rather than reinvent the hiring wheels.

Put another way, the US Airways hiring program spooled up in the Fall of 2010 which shares HR amongst the Pilots and Flight Attendants. 350 and 1200 respectively this year and, I <think> next one as well.

Over at American, they spent the last year recalling 60 pilots per month, the Eagle flow-throughs started and last month began off the street hiring. 1500 Flight Attendants in 2014.

Probably busy just trying to hit the hiring targets already on the plate.
