If you remove the worst two, three, or four offenders the rest wouldn't be monotone.

It's like being a moderator at a Tourette's debate. It's impossible and nothing gets accomplished as thread after thread goes into the weeds.

Thread after thread gets ruined by their banter. Most people on here are trying to have adult, informational discussion about the AA/US merger, not the Nic fight that is essentially dead.

Instead of letting bygones be bygones they just keep instilling divisiveness by name calling and bashing of their coworkers.

No dog in this one, but is it possible that those on the East side of the issue deserve the treatment that they get? I also get tired of reading WD/Cactiboss constant bashing, but I agree with them wholeheartedly! Any bad karma that comes to the East is deserved. Banning their opinion is nothing but CENSORSHIP!

I wasn't proposing banning their opinions, nor am I stating whether I agree or disagree with them. Their opinions are irrelevant to this discussion. Did you read my initial post?

A little more of the discussion...

Nice job guys tearing up one frame at a time 5th airframe damaged by the east since the merger:mad:

There is no excuse for a high speed abort after V1 PERIOD. Do you get that or do you need remedial lessons? The east pilots have damaged no less than 5 airframes since the merger 4 because of poor decision making.

Wake up.

No it wasn't. Now if you really want to know what's uncalled for, how about the poor decisions making on the east side that has resulted in 5 damaged airframes. 4 of those were due to very poor decision making on the part of the pilots. Its no real surprise given the extreme arrogance and overwhelming sense of entitlement.

Reach out to me when you can justify the destroying of east aircraft and then we can discuss that which may or may not be called for.

LOL !!!

Well, it looks like it's settled. Many of the East pilots on this forum request any West pilots disputing their claims be banned from this forum. Guys, this isn't binding arbitration or a USAPA meeting, it's a neutral forum. I always find it odd people who demand others be banned here because they disagree with them. It seems it's not that they want to stop hearing what they say (because they could just put them on ignore), it's that they want OTHERS to stop hearing what they say. In essence, they want to CONTROL others and silence them.

If you don't like a particular poster, put them on "ignore" and your problem is solved. If your interest is muzzling those you disagree with, the best option for success there is relocation to Moscow, Tehran or Pyongyang.

Dashdog 03-14-2014 12:25 PM

What makes you think I'm an east pilot or that I disagree with them? If I was a West pilot, I'd want them gone too.

Yes, it gets really annoying when a valid point is obscured by some of the pure nonsense that comes out. I also don't like posting just for the sake of inciting. If you can't make a contribution to the discussion without resorting to name calling then you need to be back on the playground with the other school kids.
