Let's get them as 190s and put them in DFW/MIA/LAX and let APA enjoy their awesome group one pay they negotiated. :)

Does the E195 go in group 1 as well? I flew on that with Lufthansa City line, 120 seats it's very versatile. But then again I heard a rumor that the 777-200 are losing there 3 class status and going Biz and Coach. Also is it true we are losing more LHR to BA? Seems like NYC is no longer part of our cornerstone.

You're an ignorant fool.... I wasn't part of that vote.... Was already out at that point. However it was their right to vote and accept wages they felt were acceptable to them and their future. 35 CRJ200 and only 14 crj700 didn't make them feel comfortable in the game. So be it.

It's up to a certain seat total.... For some reason 117 seats is ringing a bell.... I just think had APA had planes in group 1 they would have managed better pay scales for them. Since they didn't it seems the consensus is they said the heck with it.

Does AA scope permit 190s to be outsourced?

Actually yes. Codeshare is an end run and could include aircraft of ANY size. Based on current mainline fleet and creative moves, 50-100 jets could be introduced by a "new entrant carrier". Not sure what's up Parker's sleeve, but he's not playing nice with a APA now that he's got what he wants and I hear trouble could be brewing.

I think it's a great idea. One which you will find support from a majority of pilots here at Eagle. As our MEC made its rounds to all the bases, the question inevitably came up as to why seniority numbers weren't negotiated or why couldn't AA do the hiring to the bottom of Eagle with 100% flow up (no seniority numbers required).

Every answer to these questions sounded like this: "APA would entertain the idea of seniority numbers for Eagle pilots but we at Eagle would have to bring something to the table. If we could offer to bring E-175's on their fleet they would welcome us. But we don't own E-175's, or any planes for that matter. Even if we did, AAG management would then not agree to put the 175's at mainline when they can be flow by regionals for cheaper"

So we either get stonewalled by APA or we get stonewalled by management.

Our union has tried to come up with several scenarios to offer but they have to present these cautiously and when the timing is right so as not to get laughed out of the room. Right now APA is working on combining 3 lists into one. Adding another to the mix might not be something APA will entertain right now.

In addition, its widely rumored that many at APA did not like the prospect of being tied to proposed flow thru program offered in the failed AIP.

I'm surprised one list / one airline didnt happen right before the the merger to be honest. In the end, for one list / one airline to happen, it may require the APA and its members to take a risk and propose it and throw Eagle a bone.
We have nothing to offer but out dedication and professionalism
