To be fair, the first one is near the beach... you gotta really love the beach.
The price on the Calif house will come down rapidly with a couple more years of extended drought. Great post.

The year 2030 isn't that long to wait considering a lifetime.

The AA Seniority list I have a copy of is 2 years old. But on that list #7938 has a occupational date of 7-29-2000. Number 5567 has a date of 1-4-1993.

I'm sure these are not quite accurate today, but I imagine they are in the ballpark...
Newest list shows 30 April 2001 and
10 Feb 1999 (TWA).

Please explain? I just looked at the July seniority list. Even with old numbers and looking at the new numbers I have no idea how you came up with that.

The q was 767 D FO LAX and LAX 777 FO.

First column is OCC date. 2nd column is DOH.

With the new preliminary list, the most junior 767 FO is now 7761 with a 8 Jan 2001 DOH. The most junior 777 FO is now 5408 with a 16 Nov 1998 DOH. That's 77.5% and 54.0% based 10010 pilots on the list as of June 17th.

So, 46% of the AA list was hired after Nov 1998? I thought AA did very little hiring after 9/11. They must have hired several thousand from 99-2001.

Remember TWA? I'm pretty sure a big chunk of their pilots have seniority in that range. An AA guy can verify that.

^^^ Plus AA hiring from 1998-Sept 2001. Probably close to 1000/yr.
