I am surprised that no one mourns the loss of PNC for DH. Can somebody explain USAPA's reasoning to let that one go? The union reps I have flown with in Philly land are all dead against the decision blaming CLT.
An interesting rumor I came across is that CB in CLT envied his colleagues on the 75 take 130 hours home with them. Heard it more than once... (so it must be "true"...) Whenever I bring up this issues I get replies about premium pay. As a commuter it doesn't do me any good if I get a call from scheduling at 3 am for a 8 am departure. Why did we give away PNC for DH? |

3 posts, you're off to a great start tossing the insults into a civil discussion.
APA negotiated the contract at American that has DH as 100% Pay and Credit. LCC had 50% Pay No Credit. The MOU signed by both LCC and AA pilots adopts the AA contract almost in its entirety. Including the 100% Pay and Credit negotiated by APA. I suppose USAPA could have fought it but I don't see why they would, it's an improvement for most of the pilot group (100% pay) and as noted results in more pilots in seats which makes everybody a little more senior. |

PNC DH benefitted reserves most, and no one will be on reserve long if they don't want to be.
