logbook forgery

So, what should happen to one who signs a forged name to the aircraft logbook of a major airline and its been verified as a forgery? Should the TSA be involved, FBI, FAA, company HR for inticing a hostile work place? What is this persons mental stability? Would you fly with that person and/or bring your family along? how could the FO allow this as he is required to view the logbook also.

It happened february 21. signature was G.Nicolau III. The arbitraitor that ruled in america west vs. us airways pilots is George Nicolau III. Captain of the flight is phoenix based. There is no G. Nicolau III on ANY list at New American. So the phoenix pilots keep creating an air of hostility which by the way is against company policy. Those AOL ( army of leonidas ) ties that they wear , creating hostility was bad enough , but now forging a logbook? Thats beyond belief.

Pick your poison... Leaving a/c in a questionable state or creative signatures in the logbook.

Agree with you on mental stability though. Isn't there something in the regs about a "good moral character"?

Great, another thread on the East-West food fight. Is this what it has come to, ties and a logbook signature? Pathetic.

You got THAT right!

Is this why signatures should never be legible?
