Thanks bud! Merry Christmas. Just shot the breeze with Marc W in MIA ops... Many legendary ACA days were relived within 30 mins

Quote: Or call it a "kitbag"
AA is the only pilot group that I know that does that.
Uhh, forgive my ignorance but what did you guys call it?

TWA guys called it a Nav Kit. Never had heard that one either! At ACA it was a flight case.

Guess every airline is different? That's gotta be it!

I grew up and it was called 'kit bag' back then. That was in the 60's, 70's, 80's.

Kit Bag, Flight Bag, Nav Kit, Flight Kit, Briefcase, who gives a f......
Anything but a backpack! Biggest nerd statement there is.

Who still carries those? You have an iPad qrh and checklist you don't need a "kit" for that.

Is there a place for us aspiring American pilots to see the new uniforms and wings other than on Jet Net? Thanks

I do. Still carry my original new hire case. But then again I'm a nostalgia kind of dude and I got the stickers to show it! Anyways, I still carry tons of stuff that fits nicely into the case. iPad, QRH, headset, trip book, etc.

Havn't seen, or looked, for one.

It's so similar it's almost pointless to look at. It's a gray w/blue black in it.

The wings are larger. AA pilot wings are slim. These will be fatter. To me that's the biggest change except for the color. You won't notice that at 50'.

You'll see it the first time and think "that looks like the AA uniform except it's gray." At least that's what it looks like in the pictures to me.

Pretty much what Slice said, but here you go.

That will be different to see women pilots with scarfs (neck blouses as they are described there) with open shirts

But what do I know, I already confuse AA fa's with pilots sometimes when I see the stripes on their sleeves.
