“Actually, it is USAPA that is needlessly delaying the resolution of the seniority dispute and jeopardizing the enforceability of the agreement the parties are able to reach. …….The arbitrator’s decision was to be final and binding on both pilot groups and was to be accepted by the Company so long as certain conditions were met. The Nicolau Award has resulted in four years of litigation including a trial in federal court and jury verdict fining USAPA’s proposal for a non-Nicolau list to constitute an unlawful breach of the union’s duty of fair representation….”

Exhibit 1 of Declaration of Counsel; Case 13-15000, 02/20/2013

If true, this is serious. This concern has come up previously and unless there is an explanation for this (whatever it may be), it would appear that very little is "private" on this forum even when represented as so.

Eagle pilot, yes. ALPA "supporter", no. I answered his question, he just didn't like the answer. it was irrelevant to the issue anyway.

Why's that? I thought 2014 hires were holding it already?

It wasn't private, the mod wrote it on his original post when he locked it.

You know I must admit, I am not aware of all the history that may exist with you on this topic, but if I may, as a vociferous member of this APC internet milieu, I wish to add a simple repost: What rebuttal relative to this thread?

Your comments on this thread, so far, are wholly inane and of no value to one of an independent mind.

Wherefore is your purpose and meaning?

Personally, though I have no "dog in this hunt", I yearn for a resounding success on the part of the Westies. Too long have the Union leadership imbeciles of the East and AA tarnished our fair profession. A resounding loss may be all that's needed to bare their lunacy enough so that the sheep may yet rejoin the fold.

Thanks for getting me off the fence. No to ALPA, no desire to be in an association with someone like you.

LAA new hires are holding it, yes. But if everyone keeps threatening to sue, it'll be a very long time till LUS new hires ever get to see an LAA base and vice versa.

I'll take it you live in DFW. This whole thing has to Be frustrating. Hang in there, I think you will get based there before ya know it. I don't think any of the lawsuits will take place until after the list is implimented.
