A quick look at Atlas minimums shows 2000TT and 500 turbine. Why not drop minimums to 1500TT if they are having trouble finding pilots?

Nothing against 1,500 hour guys but you really need a 4,000 hour pilot for the right seat of a 767. With 2,000 ME and turbine. If I was in HR that's what I would be looking for and wouldn't give a crap about a 4 year degree.

Well, actually...

* 2000 hours of total time
* 500 hours turbine

or

* 1500 TT
* Graduate of 141, 142 or US Military Training Program
* Holds an SIC/PIC Type Rating in a Turbojet Aircraft

Why are you so concerned about the who, what, why, and how of things going on at ATI? For someone who does not, nor ever has, work for ATI you sure have a lot to say on the matter. Why so obtuse? A little backside hurt for some reason?? Did that potted cactus you have on your cubical desk die on you?

Well I do work at ATI. And I can say without a doubt, everyone here is looking at what K4 did. And my (and a lot of new hires I've talked with) personal expectation is better than that.

Hopefully you have told this directly to the MEC because they along with a few of the other senior types seem to be perfectly happy undercutting the profession as long as the 12 year types get their 2 percent bump each year, regardless of the fact all the other pay scales are frozen. No hurry for those 2 as long as the rest of the group sits back and just takes it.

Again, this seems to be a popular meme with the folks on the other side of the fence that just isn't true. How is it that so many people who don't even work for ATI are so dead sure they know exactly what is going on and how we are getting screwed and who is doing the screwing.

The MEC and the NC know that a measly 15% (like some trolls who don't work for ATI think they know what we want) ain't gonna cut it. Like I've said before on this board, K4 showed that you can be a home based airline and still have a industry standard contract. And if a TA is put before us that does not reflect this reality, it will be dead on arrival.

PS, The troll remark is not directed at you Freighthound, but rather another poster.
