Is Atlas going to start new contract negotiations in 2025?

The current contract is amendable in Sept of 2026.

If both union and company agree to "early openers" negotiations could begin as early as Jan 2026. Preparations would obviously begin late 2025.

The last contract took 5 years to complete. The one before that took 7 years.

So maybe this one will take 3 years which still shows improvement based on the facts above. Hope isn't a strategy although I'm cautiously optimistic for 2026/27ish. Anyone's guess of course and your info is a well stated reminder of the world we live in.

Question Pay Scale

Does anyone have the current pay scales? They dropped out of Atlas's profile page here for some reason.

I had to scour the internet to find them but I believe these are current, with current pay being in "DOS+3" column until September, and first year pay being 97 on all fleets.

Default Monthly credit

How many hours does the "typical" FO credit per month on the 747?

Thanks!

Average is probably about 70.

But you should budget for min guarantee of 64 due to: scheduling shenangins; months when you have training, vacation or sick time. All of those will bump you down to min guarantee.

So true, until you can hold BLG lines consistently always budget to min guarantee. Definitely min $ as said before for sick day months, vaca or training months if you conflict bid. Despite having BLG opportunity understand high flight hour schedules can shift rapidly month to month although it's been fairly consistent for awhile. I live as TS mentioned: everything above guarantee is gravy the rest is meat 🥩 and potatoes.🥔 🥔 🥔
