What are you looking for? Trips, quality of life, schedule has been discussed.

Training is good, people are good. The majority of the pilot group does not want to merge. It all depends who you talk to about being happy. I, for one, am. Quality of life is good for ACMI, scheduled carrier. I don't have a cystal ball but I think things are only going to get better. This is only opinion but when the DHL deal takes full flight (no later than October 2008 I think) we're not going to have room for ACMI as our aircraft have to be reserved for DHL. It'll be nice to get back to all scheduled flying. Of course, I'm sure they'll throw some kinks in their as well.

There are a lot interesting things going on with our MEC saying we're not going to merge, the Atlas MEC mad at ours, and the company saying the merger is still on. The court will decide if we have to merge or not.

Not really sure about the "this is going to be interesting" comment from Giant Pilot. It is what it is and beyond my control but I am one of the guys that doesn't want to merge.

The legal battle is too much to explain on a message board. I would just say to keep an eye on the public web boards to see what happens. Or if you're ALPA you can see what's going on those web boards as well.

Good reply,

No harm intended, just thought that maybe you were like the regular Polaroids, that do nothing but Atlas bashing on the boards, it's out of my hands what management wants to do with the companies, I am just tired of all the constant fighting!

Yes. I am ALPA... As for now, I will stay Tuned. How much hiring will take place after the September class through 2008?
