What kind of lines are the 76's going to be used for? Shorter legs, I guess, but will these legs stay closer to "home" or will they be used for smaller loads that still need to be sked randomly round the world?

First three are dedicated to AMC for passenger ops worldwide. Beyond that, you need to have the secret decoder ring...

First year pay scale is the same as the B747...$75 per hour for a 50 hour guaranty. Starting the second year, it is about 14% less than the B747.

However, in this job market, if offered a class date, and assuming you really want to be here...are you going to turn it down because of that? Probably not, right?

I was happy to see his question asked and answered. I assume the 767 pay will be good enough to live on, but I hoped to find out for sure before I get fully involved in the application process. From what I've read about Atlas, I wouldn't say no to anything they offered, but even in today's job market there are positions I would not consider--for now. Who knows, after a few years of living on my Wal-mart greeter pay, that pay-your-own-way aviation cadet "job" at Cathay might look great :-)

Nope! Thanks. Just curious.

The other thing to consider is that our new CBA might have more specific pay rates. However, implementation of the new CBA is in the arbitrator's hands...when he renders a decision on the remaining items, it can be signed and put into effect.

Good luck.

I'd take the 767 in a heartbeat but would really prefer the 747 because I live in base. Almost certain the 767 WONT go to HSV.... But, just getting on with Atlas in any capacity would be awesome. Interview on the 15th, and really hitting the books!!!

Does anybody know what percentage they hire from the interviews? I know fedex was near 20% for a while there...

If I get the job I'd also plan to live in base. What are the planned bases for the 76? If primarily used for mil ops, maybe different than the current 74 bases?

76 is only JFK based, at least for now. As said they will be dedicated to military pax, so the live troop movement flights could be from literally any military base. However, the entitlement award AMC passenger (mostly families) flights leave the US from BWI, ATL, DFW, LAX among others.

Still need that secret decoder ring and I have never even seen one. :)
