Does anyone know the timeline to contract implementation now that the Arbitrator has ruled?

Twin Wasp 09-09-2011 03:20 PM

Some of it is date of the ruling, some is the begining of the following month, and some the begining of the second month after the ruling.

Thanks, I think I just found the union email. October 1st is the effective date for the pay increases!

Studying for my interview and was just wondering, does Atlas operate under Flag or supplemental operations? Just dusting off the book on alternates. Thanks!

Flag, all the way. It wouldn't hurt to keep the other alternate info handy, though. Being ready for any questions never hurts. ;-)

Anyone from the interview group on Aug 23rd, 24th heard anything back yet?

There are Ops Specs for Domestic, Flag and Supp. And there are 6 pages of cities listed where we can operate supplemental ops using flag rules. That being said, think of everything as Flag.

Nothing here.

One of my inside friends mentioned that they are super backed up right now with the new contract stuff. I don't know for sure though.

Based on IOE support I have done and talking to the new hires, there is a 3 week gap between completion of training in MIA and IOE.

Good luck.

I try and always be positive BUT here's to hoping I'm wrong and hoping they're not readjusting hiring numbers due to the arbitration results.

No strike clause
Can't cross picket lines due to sensitive nature of military flying
Lost a lot of scope
Able to dry lease (Titan) airplanes can transfer here if they so choose from what I understand. Please tell me I'm wrong.

Oh -- but we get to share information from/to the company to see if they're in violation of Scope.

Ask the ABX and Astar guys how good a pay raise is when you're in the unemployment line.

After looking at the slide and listening to the DahlmanRose presentation by our CEO, things appear to be on the right track but there is no designation to where the -8's are going.

So things are looking good here but you know what they say: keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Guess I'll find out in twenty years when I retire! :D
