Recce

Roger... Roger. Got the vector, Victor. We have Clearance... Over? That's Clarence Over... Over? Roger... Over? Huh, what?

Thanks for the insight. Whew, glad that's not one of the test questions, may have missed that one. Not a military man or a product of a military family, but with another few days I may have figured that one out. :p We take things slow down here in Red Stick, LA.

The latest "word" is 50 more FNG's in addition to the two classes announced. Looks like interviews around first week of September. All for the 744.

N851GT at Paine Field

N851GT is the second of the Atlas-operated 747-8F aircraft...it left yesterday from Paine Field, Everett, Washington, on the delivery flight to our customer, Panalpina. We now operate 2 of the type, and own 5...still 2 more of the type to be delivered in Q4 this year...

Good luck to those looking to get a call.

Hey I'm coming out of left field, and only reading the previous two pages of stuff, so I apologize if I ask the same question over again.

- Does Atlas have a Miami base? (I always see at least one airplane on the ramp)

-What's the typical schedule like for a new hire? Days off ? Trips etc?

Thanks

Moonwolf

I guess I should say how senior is MIA?

Rhino12 07-26-2012 06:47 AM

I get to be "that guy!"

Read the last 362 pages and it will answer ALL of your questions and make your wildest dreams come true.

Twin Wasp 07-26-2012 06:52 AM

Yes, there is a 747 base in MIA. You owe the company 17 days a month. It can be all together or broken up. MIA flying tends to be to South America so most of the trips are shorter but scheduling will send you where they need you.

One of the F/Os that just flew me Dover to Hahn is MIA based and just off first year pay. The latest bid shows new hires going HSV and ANC.
