Latest I heard this week at Crystal Place was that at least 25 have left for greener pastures!! Should open up some spots for hiring.

Union says it was 14 over the past year. About the historical average. It should pick up, but it's not like some of the regionals where they're losing 25-30 guys a month.

For those interested, it is official, Atlas is now a booth holder at the WIAI conference, they are booth number 435. Come visit and say hello!

If you had a completely non-flying staff position in past 10 years, report it as a break in flying on that question. If it was "flying staff" where you attached to a flying unit and maintained a qual, then no break should be reported.

Thanks OSAVIP.

Would it be worth showing up to meet the Atlas folks? I have no idea how a conference differs from a job fair. Also, I'm a guy....does that matter? :D

However the title "WOMEN in Aviation" it is a conference for everyone, come one come all, everyone is welcome. It is a 3 day extravaganza with a job fair portion as well as education session, speakers, tours... it's a plethora of activity! During the job fair part of the conference Atlas will have a booth and will be doing a sort of mini-interview which will include 'marking up your resume' so that they know that they met you at the/a conference. I can't vouch for other airlines but at Atlas it essentially puts your resume at the top of the stack.

Hope that helps ;)

A good study book is "Everything Explained for the professional pilot". I got mine on Amazon, and worth the money. It is just a bunch of facts and funny pics. In the beginning the guy says if you don't have a sense of humor don't rear any more.

Very close number to what I've seen and heard.

Awesome book. Also and contiuously updated App on iPad. Consider the SheppardAir guys technical test prep. I am not sure what it is called, but it's less questions than the ATP prep and more focused.
