NOT possible. Atlas has neither the pilots nor the a/c to do it right now. Maybe next spring or summer, but there is just no way to start anything like this in the next 6-8 months.

K4 might be a better fit. Kalitta management is suddenly pressing their pilots to accept a new contract with pathetic work rules. At least some of those same pilots are caving in.

We have the ability to get agreements with up to around a hundred airlines from what I hear, but the company won't fill out the paperwork to expand the program.

What is Zed? / What are Zed agreements?

Days worked / days off

I've read the 17 to 20 days on thing but I don't see how many days off after that.
My current job keeps me away from home 204 days per year. 8 days on / 6 days off. Travel to and from airplane are during the first and last of the 8 days so i truly get 6 full days off.
I'm just curious how this job would compare. Also I live close to one of the listed bases for Atlas.

It just completely depends. You can have the first five days of the month off, work 17, and then have the rest of the month off. Or that 17 days can be split in a month if you bid a 30 day line. There are also 60 day bid periods where you'll work your 34 days or so over two months. Typically, you'll work three trips over the two months with one of the trips overlapping the two months. It's line bidding, so what you get is all going to depend on your seniority and what other people in front of you bid. 17 days is the max, but you can be extended up to three days in special circumstances.
