A young guy with a family living near CVG could do well for his career with this schedule. Ice and snow in the winter, beat your brains out in the Midwest spring/summer convective weather. Great chance to learn how to fly the big jet!
I have found that young pilots resist moving to their bases and choose instead to commute. I disliked commuting and begging for jump seats so I moved my young family to a Midwest base from Calif. We stayed for a few years flying scheduled service until I was able to hold a West Coast base. Best move we ever made. Great town with great schools, reasonable house prices and I was home almost every night.
