At which time the new 4 year Atlas 767 captain will be paid:

$32 less than a 4 year Allegiant A-319 captain.
$57 less than a 4 year Jet Blue A320 captain.
$59 less than a 4 year Kalitta 767 captain.
$136 less than a 4year UPS 757 captain.

Think about it ...

With extensive overseas flying, how does not having a US passport affect the job? I have a green card, will that suffice. Any driver's without US passport at Atlas? How lomg do you guys think before you get a new contract?(strike isn't happening even though it got voted by almost everyone)

Are you serious? What country are your from?

You must have a passport to work at Atlas. You can have a green card and a valid passport from your home country as well.

We are never getting a new contract.

My apologies for not being clear, I do have a passport, just not an american one. I am from South East Asian country. I wanted to check if any pilots there with green cards only.

Thanks.

Yes, we have at least 20 pilots that I know of who have green cards. They come from all over the world and Atlas is a good option for many who want to live abroad while working for an American company.

It is really nice to fly with people who speak multiple languages and it can save your bacon at times. :)

Just me talking, I am happy to fly with guys from all over the world. Recently flew with someone from Ukraine! And another guy from Spain whom I instantly named him "Spaniard" - pretty original heh? This just adding to the cool factor of this job.... However I am concerned that this will become a new source of pilots for this company as they continue to flounder on giving this pilot group an industry standard contract.

Anyone with the qualifications to fly for a U S 121 carrier should have the ability to find the answers these questions someplace other than APC. I would be cautious responding to inquiries like this.
