Default Known Crew member Question

Not sure if this is the correct forum, but its a rule related question.

Now that were able to use Known Crew for personal travel (domestic), does any know if they will let you take a kid through? Pre Check is good until 13, but I wasnt sure if that applied to KCM. Somehow I feel that its probably a big NO, but wasnt sure if any had any experience with this.

They are pretty specific about this on the kcm website. No one may accompany you, nor may you bring someone else's property through with you.

You could bring your kid's luggage through, since that actually belongs to you not the kid.

But you cannot bring the kid.

No way. Not a chance. You will get personally fined and have your KCM revoked for this. Not joking. It has to be items for your personal use. It doesn't matter if you own it or not.

I checked the KCM website and didnt see anything that says no one can accompany you, or about carrying other peoples goods.

Not that I doubt you, but can you reference that part or link to it?

KCM website under FAQ:
10 second google search.

Here's the deal with KCM: It's a great service that is provided to us. Don't screw it up by making it your family's personal VIP access lane. They have to schlep all their stuff through security. When I travel with my younger kids, I go through precheck with them and skip KCM.

Yea, I looked at the FAQ's twice, not sure how I missed it.

Thanks.

Definitely dont want to mess it up, I love KCM as much as the next guy. Just making sure I wasnt missing something. Problem is, wife has PreCheck and I just havent gotten around to getting it for myself. Just looking to see if I could save some time by carrying the baby through KCM with me, but now that I know... looks like its the cattle line for us.

Why don't you just go through KCM and have your wife take the baby through PreCheck?

My guess would be the wife is now the ex-wife or he's trying to travel with just the kid for some other reason.
