Does an accident ever go off the record of a pilot? I thought I read somewhere the FAA revised its rules regarding this and said after five years an accident would no longer appear on a pliot's record. In other words, after five years, no one who be able to associate an accident with a pilot unless the pilot offered to discuss on his/her own accord.
