Default Custody Close Air Support

Hi - I'm new to this site and not an Aviator.

However, I am a retired Infantry Marine who has had Marine and Air Force Air get me out of tough situations before. So, I am hoping for some close air support again.

This is a custody issue regarding my 3 1/2 year old Daughter.

I have a job that is currently tolerating me flying back and forth between Chicago and Las Vegas, on my own dime, while engaged in these custody battles which have been going on for nearly a year.

Although her Mother and I can not get along, I believe it is in my Daughter's best interest to spend as much time with both her parents.

I would like to see her have 50 percent of her time spent with each of us (I currently have ~40%).

My Daughter's mother is fighting to gain a much greater percentage and does not believe 7 days away from her Mother is in our Daughters best interest.

I have two questions:

1. Does anyone have information (psych reports, etc...) regarding the effect of week on/week off custody on toddlers?

2. Does anyone have a child, or know of a child, that lived through week on/week off custody situations - and if so, looking back, what was their perspective?

Any other advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated?

Thank you and Semper Fi,
Bull
