Default Icom a22

Trying the Trade Up program.

Had a welder and traded it for a Icom A22 radio.
My CFI days are over. But this radio is great to keep tabs on a student on a solo. Or as a spare radio in a small airplane. Anyway i am not looking for money. They sell used on ebay for $200 plus. I am looking for something of value to trade. I would like something that is $250 value or more.
Now you maybe asking yourself why would you trade a $250 item for a $200 one.
Well we all have junk in our closets or garage. If you are not using your $250 item then it really is not worth you keeping. Expecially if you can use the radio i have to trade.
So it's a win win. You get a new toy in exchange for your dust collector and i get an item that i can trade for something bigger.
Google Icom A22 if you want specific info about the radio.
Sorry for the crap photo. I will take a better one when the wife returns my camera.

Sorry, I see that as a "win-$50 loss". Best of luck!

Well i traded a welder for the radio. The guy was excited to get a new toy and got rid of a radio that he never used. So there is a $50 difference in the two items. Big deal. We are both happy. Now someone may need this radio and has a choice to either spend $200 (or more) and buy one on ebay or trade with me. Something that isn't being used doesn't really have a lot of value.

I had a $250 item I was going to trade you but I ended up selling it on Craigslist for $250.

I'll keep looking.
