They are actually not hiring. They are accepting applications. Big difference. The next step would be to start conducting interviews which could place a applicant in a pool to be hired. At some point after that hiring would begin. It does not look like they will make their planned startup date this summer.

But that seniority number! Then when they get sold in 9 years they get to steal someone else's seniority in the SLI.

are you sure? I know a few people from my old regional who said they interviewed and got a TBNT.

That 2 digit seniority is only good if there are 3 or 4 digit guys behind you and then only good if there are paya and scheduling commensurate of 2 digit seniority worth.

Long way to go to wait and see if it lays off. Meanwhile everyone at a major is raking it in.

It's inaccurate. I know several people that have interviewed and two of them have CJO's with start dates in Feb and March.
