There used to be a Legacy forum and a Major/National forum. Not sure when it was redone. Probably before you were a pilot.

SkyWest and Republic are in the Regionals forum because they do not operate flights under their own code. They are feeder airlines.

Once again the Breezybois have lots of big boy feels but Breeze is not a major airline. They've never even made a profit. It's just a late career attempt by Neelman to cash in one last time. Everyone who's been in this industry more than a minute knows that DN only started it as a buyout target. And you all are being used by him with your slave wages and lack of a contract. Maybe you'll get bought out before they shut down who knows.
You were doing so well till the breeze hate talk came out. Day drinking already? It’s a national airline valued at least a Billion, does that count?

Imagine having so little going on in your life of value that you are upset that an airline got its own subsection on an Internet forum.

Wait a minute, he’s at G4 and is saying another airline has slave wages? 😂 Last I checked Breeze pays more than allegiant, and allegiants first year pay is the lowest in the industry.

I've been at AA for 3 years now. But yes, prior G4 and Comair before that.

One thing I know is that you can't out Allegiant Allegiant. That's why Breeze won't succeed as a stand alone airline. The ULCC model is dead.

I’m far from miserable man, specially now. I didn’t detest breeze , just wanted ppl to get both sides. When I got hired it was all JB/ Virgin vibes. Then it turned into allegiant and then the charter BS. If I wanted to fly corporate or for allegiant I would have. But I wish y’all the best, I still have a lot of buddies there.

Not that long ago the ULCC guys were all on here posting about how they would own the world. That didn't happen but the model is not dead. New passengers are being born every minute. The ULCC's will settle into a nitch and do fine. Breeze planned on being very low cost like most startups, generate a year or so of profits, go public and pay off the investors and then a buy out or merger.
The problem was Breeze could not stick it to their employees as planned because pilot saleries soared and people found out they really don't need to work. Their college kid part time flight attendants want to party not have jobs And be forced to live in company housing.
Breeze original pilot pay, can't really report work rules as they had none:
  • First officers will be paid $55 per hour in year one, and $94 per hour in year six
  • Captains will be paid $117 per hour in year one, and $143 per hour in year six
  • Pilots are only guaranteed pay for 55 hours per month of flying (this is really the worst part, since pilots at most airlines are guaranteed 75+ hours per month)

Is there a point to your story?
