It will be interesting to see if they reach out. I applied as I am a current 135 jet guy with 121 experience as well. Doesn’t hurt to see what comes of it.

So will this fall under pt.91? 135? Moving parts and pieces can be done pt.91, but to start shuttling crew memebers on unscheduled flights in a turbojet that’s >12,500lbs. This will be pt.135?

91 operation. If it’s operated and run my Breeze and it’s only employees, then it’s a corporate shuttle. Intel does this a lot on the west coast in EMB-135’s.

Even at airfields, many have “GA parking” yet my jet wouldn’t even fit there lol

When I was flying a sports team on a Boeing, I felt pretty GA when I was hanging in the FBO lounge. Not sure this distinction matters, really. But my loose interpretation is: taxi to a terminal with full TSA security = airline; anywhere else on the airport = General Aviation (or possibly military).

Isn't that shuttle operated by Boeing on a 121 certificate? Call it what you want, but the categorization probably swerves into an (unimportant) gray zone.

Who did this?

So who sold them on leasing a Lear 45? Asking for a friend. 😎

A220 Fleet Support manager:
"can it climb?"

LR45 Salesperson:
"Getting to TOC quickly will be a breeze."

Does anyone know if this position will lead to a flow to fly the 121 side?

Once a captain you will fly 18 months minimum before flowing over. Your seniority date starts with the day you finish your type if you’re going in as a DEC or day you upgrade if you’re an FO. The FOs don’t get any benefits you have to be a captain to start the clock to flow and start your date of hire seniority. Yep you read that right. So if you get hired off the street straight to the 121 side, prepared to be over stepped a year or two later by random Lear Jet pilots who never flew a breeze airplane

I agree with you, it should just be a flow. There’s no need to offer CA date of hire seniority too. The only thing is they’re already being hired by Breeze and will fly for Breeze, so maybe they thought it wouldn’t be right to just offer flow since it’s basically a given.

yea see if that would float at endeavor and delta. They have a flow date and start at the bottom when they move to delta
