Are you under 30 and can you pass a AF pilot physical. C-5 units are always hiring! . Seriously, they are and it’s a good gig.

You’d fit ok, but might ask the crew to bring back a sandwich while you the FMS programming. It’s getting in and out that’s troublesome in Lears. That and turbulence! Now I think about it, every Scooter Pilot I’ve met was small in stature, too.

I asked a co-worker of mine that is 6'4.5" and he says he fits into a King air 300 just fine.

He does complain about getting in and out - so do I - but once in he says he is fine.

GF - you should have seen me in the cockpit of an A-4L.
The first time I closed the canopy I actually had a moment of claustrophobia because I went to salute the plane captain and I looked like I had little tyrannosaurus arms there was so little room to move.

5’4” for the USAF due to ejection seat limitations. However, a friend’s daughter has a waiver being 5’3.5”, but will have limitations on assignments probably no fighters.

Many very short women fly airlines. Some have to bring booster seats. There was a midget flying for mesa at one point (not sure the PC term, but he was apparently a really great guy), he presumably had to rig something up to reach the petals.

So really no limits at airlines. One airline I worked at had a lot of short older FA's... one of the planes they flew in the past had a low ceiling so they had to be under 5'6" or something like that to avoid OJI from bending over constantly.

We've even had guys under 5' at the flight school bring their own booster seats. Worked fine, didn't seem to hinder them.
