How was OBAP ?
#2
Not sure about OBAP, I haven't been to WAI since 2004 and haven't been to any others since; my intel tells me it's become a sausage fest of guys in suits and whatever color tie they hope will get them hired.
When I went it was just chicks drinking beers, telling "there I was" stories and passing along leads to the rare and few flying gigs.......like hauling checks in MU-2's. (remember those days?) The airlines sent some folks to hand out swag, but hiring was so far out on the horizon that it was still casual and fun then. I wonder if it has the same vibe now? Don't really feel like spending $ and time to find out. Perhaps some day.
Now you kids get the hell off my lawn :roll eyes:

Sure, they did......I guarantee the "hiring fairs" were quite lucrative.
I'd go to support and help youngsters get started; If it's the way it used to be I'd love to go again. There were MANY shenanigans, it was a riot!

I’ve heard the same! Hopefully it does return to its roots, and I commend you for being a long time supporter!
