I keep with the boring suit for interviews and spent a little money on a nice leather portfolio for my paperwork etc.

*(non aviation interviews other than LIFT)

How bad is it that I only have a black suit?

Not bad at all, if you’re a funeral director.

I asked the CP: “Why did HR start requiring blue or gray suits? I wore a brown suit and got hired.”

He said: “That’s why.”

My last interview?
50 guys and I was one of 4 with a red tie.
Mostly blue, black and grey suits.
One guy looked like he was dressed by Stevie Wonder. Either that or his mom was mental.
Never saw him again in Training.
Don’t be that guy.

I’ll remember for the next life’s interview in ATL. How ‘bout blue and white seersucker with a white straw boater?

You can wear brown shoes. I did and was given offers at two legacies.

Brown shoes with navy is a classic combination. Works every time.

Too bad I don’t have time before my next interview to get a new suit then.
