Two potential opportunities for my next job. Which option would you take?
Twin turbine PIC, single pilot IFR, flying cargo back and forth on the same routes averaging about 1 hour each way. Leave before sun up return after sun down. Sit in the middle of nowhere all day. Averaging approximately 50 hours per month.
PC12 PIC, single pilot IFR, Flying Part 91 around the East Coast, Midwest, and Caribbean with 5-6 overnights per month and averaging 500-600 hours per year.
Thanks in advance.

Neither.
That cargo run will be mind numbing and soul sucking and not in a good way.
All time counts towards total time just some is better then others.
Have a look at Planesense if you meet their requirements.
SE Turbine but also 135 training program, checkrides, lines checks etc etc etc.
More valuable then the Part 91 gig which has no Chief Pilot to answer to, no evaluations and no FAA supervision.
No rest rules no nada...

Thank you for both responses. I'm not fully committed to going the regional route, yet. The cargo flying does seem very mundane but I've heard the single pilot IFR experience is invaluable. I am interested in PlaneSense; my main reservation is the potential to advance from a single turbine without a lot of multi time.
