Question no BS-any chance at becoming a pilot?

I have NO illusions of becoming a commercial pilot--I'm 49 with a couple of hours in a 150---I'd have no problem flying a "cargo plane full of rubber dogsh-t out of Hong Kong"----do I have any chance? I'd relocate anywhere to fly anything---I think I'd prefer cargo

Yes, it’s very realistic at that age. First thing you need to do is make sure you can pass a First Class medical. Also, it’s a fairly expensive career to train for, so you will need the finances to do it.

Get 135 mins and Ameriflight will hire you. Get ATP mins and most regionals will hire you. Atlas too, if you want cargo, a 747 type rating, and flying rubber dog§hit out of Hong Kong.

Probably need to hurry though to get to those numbers from “a couple of hours in a 150” before you time out at age 65.

You could be at a Regional inside of 3 years and the better part of $60-$70k if the market holds up.
