Not accurate. UPS switched to Zoom interviews when Covid hit and continues to do so. I have no idea how long that will last or if anyone else is doing the same. I do concur that moving heaven and earth to make the interview is in your best interest.
I was thinking of the passenger majors, sorry about passing on bad info. I stand corrected.
To the OP, if you can’t get a week off to come to the States to interview, it sounds like your best bet is to do a remote interview with one of the regionals and once you’re stateside you’ll be able to get the time off to interview with a major if/when they call. I would reach out to the regionals directly to ask which would be willing to interview you via zoom. With your stats, I bet most of them would do it in a heartbeat.

Atlas routinely hires expats and the whole process is done over Teams. Just to give another option.
