Appreciate any insights, thanks!
You should definitely roll up into the parking lot, get out of your vehicle, and walk into that building sporting that beard, like ZZ top. Do it like a boss.

There are people today who refuse to apply to airlines over the beard issue.

But in this case it might be a reasonable consideration... how bad does he need the job, and what are the odds of actually getting it?

If you're a pilot on a serious job hunt, you should shave most or all of it off. But if it's just an opportunity that popped up for a guy who's otherwise happy with his circumstances, maybe not as big of a deal.

Really? Pass on multi-million dollar career over a beard? That’s got to be the ego talking loudly.

It's a thing in this day and age. Imagine the shame, you'd have to delete your insta account I guess.

Personally I think any guy who's that invested in his hair needs to do a three year stint in the USMC to learn man fundamentals, that don't rely on grooming props. But it's a free country.

You almost have to give Robin Olds honorable mention for the epic stache.

Amelia Earhart didn't have a beard?

No wonder she got lost.

Negative… Been to many facilities in recent years. Some instructors and post holders sported neat and trimmed beards.

Al passed some years back. Called me Donnie. Which was amusing because my name is Ron. Owned an Aerostar and a house on the Indian river in Vero Beach. Spartan personal tastes, legendary workaholic. Was known to appear ordering an Egg McMuffin for breakfast on Sunday mornings.

But things change & the topic is interviewing. Behind a beard. Who knows, maybe we’ll get as Paul Harvey used to say, the rest of the story after today’s meeting?
