Flight Safety and Beards

Question for anyone who may know:
I have an interview Tuesday with Flight Safety, in the last two months I’ve grown an incredible beard. Anyone ever notice if any of the instructors there have beards? Is a beard acceptable for an interview? I don’t really want to shave it off, though I will if I need to.
Appreciate any insights, thanks!

But in this case it might be a reasonable consideration... how bad does he need the job, and what are the odds of actually getting it?
If you're a pilot on a serious job hunt, you should shave most or all of it off. But if it's just an opportunity that popped up for a guy who's otherwise happy with his circumstances, maybe not as big of a deal.

There are people today who refuse to apply to airlines over the beard issue.

It's a thing in this day and age. Imagine the shame, you'd have to delete your insta account I guess.
Personally I think any guy who's that invested in his hair needs to do a three year stint in the USMC to learn man fundamentals, that don't rely on grooming props. But it's a free country.

Negative… Been to many facilities in recent years. Some instructors and post holders sported neat and trimmed beards.

But things change & the topic is interviewing. Behind a beard. Who knows, maybe we’ll get as Paul Harvey used to say, the rest of the story after today’s meeting?
