What else can I do to stand out?
#1
I've been working toward corporate aviation from the beginning of my flight training. I have 1400tt, 200me, all the atp mins except Total and almost all of my time is PIC doing precision mapping (lidar-multiple systems, digital-oblique imaging, hyperspectal, etc.)
I also have a solid work history prior to aviation working in sales and customer service for a large aircraft manufacturer. I have a reference letter from a former VP for that company and a standing offer for a letter from an instructor and also my former employer. I've only been with my current employer for 3 months but I'm looking to the future and wondering, "what else can I do?" How can I make my resume stand out to a corporate flight department?
Thanks.

The corporate culture is vastly different than the 121 culture. Having said that, networking is huge in this arena. Corporate is very much people oriented - when one pilot retires often times the retiree is asked, and the other pilots, if they know anyone to fill the vacancy.
If you have a particular company in mind, find out what their fleet type is and seek out ways to log time in that aircraft type. You may have to take a job you don't desire to gain experience in a particular aircraft, but it could lead you to your desired job.
Hope that helps!
