Default SkyWest interview w/ 121 experience?

Hi everyone,

I have prior 121 experience (CR7, not current), does SkyWest have a different interview/approach for those with a 121 background? I heard I may be excluded from the sim ride, but will they deviate from the crop of gouges out there? Anyone that has gone through the interview as of lately, I would sincerely appreciate any input from your experiences.

Feel free to PM me.

Expect (and prepare for) a full on, full blown interview. Should you get less, then consider yourself lucky.

I'm seasoning myself with knowledge, because I have a feeling they will grill me with questions pertaining to 121 and the CR7..

Thanks.

Also be prepared to even draw your (X) A/C system, during the interview. I heard it from co-workers that interview there. I think is at their discretion to put you in the sim, regardless if you have previous 121. Some one feel free to correct me on this subject.

Is the gouge on "my pilot career . com" up to date?

Can anyone shed light on recent experiences? Especially for current 121 candidates.

They say if you have the ATP written, there's no written test. Is it that they want to see a score??? I ask b/c I have my ATP, but I don't have a copy of the written test, (that went to the FAA from my checkride)? Or is having the ATP treated the same?

Day of interview, what not in the gouge should be expected if anything?

Hotels: Do any have shuttles, or is a rental car a really good idea?

Any other info would be appreciated.

Since you have an ATP I would think they would not care about the written, but you had better call and ask to be safe. You can get a copy of your written from the FAA very quickly.

The recruiters should tell you what hotel to stay at, it will have a shuttle to/from the airport and the training center. It might be the candlewood

Expect questions regarding your most recent airplane flown. If you are current 121 they may skip the sim, but I would do a sim prep anyway...

I was considering on going to the Job Fair in Denver Aug. 4. Can someone tell me about what to expect at these job fairs. Or if it's o.k. to call someone at SkyWest to get more information...
