Well, there is one thing you didn't tell me, but I am assuming (yea I know), you are young right? Like 20 ish. 18 would be a bonus :p. Oh, and I get to keep everything I know right now, but I'll make a copy for you too.

haha i get your point. Yes I am young, just turned 23. It is just tough because of the regionals lowering their minimums. I just have to be patient though, because there is no reason for me not to be at my age.

Here is another of the Do's/Don'ts on the Resume articles.
Particulary I thought the mention of the opinion that is IS NOT required to put all of your experience on the resume. There have recently been questions whether or not to put a very short term position on the resume.

Here is some more advice, and I do not mean to come across as harsh. Do not apply if you don't meet the posted minimums. I can't tell you how many people I know who are in charge of hiring that hate it when people apply that aren't even remotely close to their posted minimums. If you apply and don't meet the minimums, you will not get hired, but you do make it more difficult for the people that are actually qualified to fill the position. It's hard to sort through a thousand resumes if 850 of them are from people that are under qualified.

I think you should apply even if you don't meet the mins. I was hired flying citations even though I didn't meet their minimums.

So if a company has posted mins of 3,000TT and you are a wet comm, you think it's ok to go ahead and apply?

Though I would think that it would be common practice to not apply unless you meet the minimums as Red points out, the fact is that it pays to know your audience obviously. This *common sense* approach would seem to be a no-brainer except for many places have been reported as hiring below their published mins.
Mins = 3,000TT and you have a wet commerical -- maybe not a good idea.
Mins = 1000TT/100ME and you have 900TT/75ME -- people are getting hired.
A drastic difference in the gap, but both meet the applying belows mins debate.
