Question Degrees and Careers

I've been reading on this forum and others about having a college degree in a different field other than aviation for those who want to become pilots.

So I'm curious... do you have a college degree, and what field is it in? Did you work in that field before working in aviation, or did you leave aviation to work in that field?

Personally, I have a degree in Broadcast Communications, and am currently working in that field... for now. But with my industry changing, becoming a lot more automated, it's now time for me to start getting second career possibilities in order.

I have a BS in Computer Science. I had one job for 9 months in 1985 as a database programmer before going to UPT in the Air Force. Later I worked in real estate for almost three years, then I owned and managed my own company for nearly 11 years before getting back into aviation in 2007.
