Default Aero Crew Solutions Job Fair May 18

Just received an email for the Aero Crew Solutions job fair on May 18th. Looks like Spirit and US Airways will be there from what the web site says.

I've been to two previous job fairs with Spirit, really enjoyed the experience, the recruiters were fantastic and I've learned quite a bit.

My only reservation is the cost. It's getting terribly expensive to keep attending with nothing to show for it.

That being said, I'd still recommend it and I plan on going. Anyone else?

Minimums of 1300 TT, 100 Multi for ExpressJet? (Listed on job fair site)

How can they do that in May?

I am expecting the minimums listed for ExpressJet and Great Lakes to be updated within the next couple of weeks. The minimums listed are what they are requiring right now.

Lobaeux - I hope you get some good news from WAI and don't need another job fair to get where you want to be.

I have promised my wife that this (WAI) will be the last "job fair" I attend simply because of the cost involved without any positive outcome. We're hoping the retirement numbers and FAA rest rules will prove fruitful for us regional guys/gals looking to move on.

Maybe I'll run into ya in BNA! Good luck!

Thanks! Maybe I'll run into you, I'll be the wide-eyed, confused looking guy.

I don't know how much WAI is like a job fair or more like an exhibitor hall. I'm thinking the primary purpose of the WAI conference isn't to get a job, it's more for airlines to answer questions, but I'm probably wrong. Plus, one of my primary targets will not be there at WAI, they will be at Aero Crew Solutions.

My wife is pretty adamant the Chicago job fair will be my last guaranteed job fair. I have already given up track weekends to go to Chicago!
