That is awesome! I'm currently a very senior flight instructor and although I don't have the seniority I could have had if I went earlier, I am way better off now with money in the bank and less debt. I even let my current employer pay for my MEI and just finished the contract. I could have payed for it myself years ago but why?

I hear people talk about buying out of a work contract or forking over a large amount of cash to break a lease to get to a regional ASAP because "seniority is everything."

In 2007 I survived on Xjet FO pay. Never flew over 30 hours a month. Rented a house with 2 other guys. Survived on Busch Light and Tuna fish packages. But, that was when Busch was $11 for a 30 pack.
