Yeah...I'm planning on using that one...If they press for an example I'll tell them something from my student pilot days : like landing with a tailwind or alt. bust while on a x-country as a student...Of course, I learned from those mistakes and strive to be a better pilot everytime I fly...

What would you do if the CA was flying into a thunderstorm?

I guess my answer would about the thunderstorm would depend on the situation. Did you get yourself in a suckerhole with no escape? Are you min fuel or in a situation where the alternative is worse such as a forced landing or ditch at night?
I've seen where it appears clear on the radar but bad thru the windscreen and vice versa. |

Another easy one is cloud clearance. As a student pilot (and presumably now) did/do you bring a tape measure every flight to make sure you were clear by appropriates mins?

FA knocks on your door and tells you that the Captain is making advances to him/her.
What do you do? After taking him/her in the lobby (public place) I thought about listening to FA has to say and then get the Lead FA involved. Should I say that I try to be the mediator between the 2 individuals before I get management involved? |

What do you do? But seriously, this is not your business except that you could remind your colleague that the FA is ****ed and s/he may report them. You are not their supervisor. Any more involvement can only get you negatively involved. |

Invite them in and offer a massage. If they refuse, threaten to report them to supervisor for sexual harassment. It is always better to take the offensive.

CAPTJNS is right on the mark, Safety and SOP's are paramount to an airline. In an interview situation, they want to find out:
- how you think, - how you process information and prioritise, - how you act and - what your potential is. Remember, whatever role you are applying for, a company wants longevity from its employees so they are looking at you and your potential to Command. So your answer needs to reflect your potential and you need to use all of your resources. It does not always matter that your answer is totally/technically correct, it is just as important for the recruiter to see how you think, process information and your potential to learn and grow. |

Be thankful that you're flying with a female Captain that actually pull-off wearing a pink dress and high heels. ;)
