Default Junior bases in the northeast?

I currently live in upstate NY and are looking for a regional that will most likely put me in NYC. After months of research following threads I have gathered commuting in a plane to work should be avoided at all cost. I have looked at listed airline domiciles but they are not specific on which ones are "junior". Can anyone suggest an airline that can place me in this area from the start?

I know you said regional, but Jet Blue and United both have Newark as junior bases...

Currently my experience puts me on track for a regional. From what i've gathered commutair, endeavor, eagle and xjt are the only based regionals in NYC. I'm looking for an airline that will let me do my reserve time close to where I live.

EWR is easy to get out of training at CommutAir. If not out of training within a month or two.

AWAC has a base at LGA. Not the most junior, but still available out of training.
