Default Upgrade?

Hey guys and girls I have a question and am seeking some advise.
I'm currently working at a 135 operation flying right seat in a multi turbine aircraft. I have 1300 tt with 300 of that in being multi turbine sic. I should be at 1500tt by april ish. I have been offered an upgrade in the multi turbine. Captain pay is comparable to third or fourth year pay at most regionals. I'm on call 24/7 with few days off. Flights are normally in Excess of 11 hrs non stop and mostly all red eye(which is not not my favorite). I dont really care for my base, benifits are useless. My question is, do I take the upgrade and sign the year and a half contract or wait till 1500'tt and try for a regional?
Thanks in advance for your input.

take the upgrade...if you still don't like the pay/QOL at least you will have many more options open when you have the TPIC time...

If you want to be an airline pilot, go have a life and be an airline pilot.

Multi turbine what?

Turboprop pic may not be what it once was and you might be able to upgrade quickly at certain regionals anyway.

If it's a glass jet, take the upgrade and stick around for 1000+ hours.

If it is 11-hour non-stop, red eyes, I'm guessing you're large cabin business jet on charter. If you can upgrade and log TPIC time, take it. It'll get hired at majors, you'll stand out in 18 months from the gag of RJ F/Os trying to hired, and; if the majors don't work out, lots of good chances at Fortune 500 jobs.

I'll trade you jobs.

And compared to where I am it sounds like a great opportunity with less than 1500.

Multi turbine pic is like money. It doesn't matter unless you don't have any. Suffer for another year and a half in the captain seat. You'll learn a lot, and make yourself very competitive. When you have a thousand and you still hate it then go try to fill other boxes if you haven't gotten your dream job
