Would you become a pilot, again?

After reading a forum from another site I got to thinking...
If you had to do it all over again, knowing what you know now, would you do it?
*It referring to becoming a pilot

Yes I would, I would do a few things differently but I still would . Esp with the retirements coming , I look at these young cats who just turned 23 and are flying at a regional, no reason they should have a well times career ...

Despite the pain of finding the cash to pay for training......yes, without a doubt. Due to the turmoil following 9/11 (when I graduated HS) and low initial pay I initially took a career in the oil industry...Now I am trying to make it as a pilot at an older age than most and loving every second of it.

Yes, absolutely, just not for hire. To do it over the same way, no. I would have built a business that would have afforded a 130 foot motor yacht and a light jet; hired a full time crew for the boat and the sharpest FO I could get for a copilot... If I had it to do over again...

I'd do it again as long as I could be assured of having the same career that I've been able to have.
Lots of folks have had terrible careers through no faults of their own. I'd probably not continue or "do it again" if I were in their shoes.
