Lumosity for the Cognitive Test ???

What is a good LPI (Score)?

dogismycopilot 09-01-2014 11:37 AM

1421 here. Don't know if it's a good score, but I did pass the DL cog screening if that's the info you're looking for.

I told you my score....sooooo...how big is yours???

Wow! How long have you been playing? What was you LPI when you first started?

I ( Age 42) just started about 3 days ago ~ 700. My percentage for the games have been in the 92-100% and many times 100% but I guess my speed/reaction time is too slow. I'd rather take an extra second to be sure. I think/hope my baseline LPI is skewed because I only only completed 3 of the first 7 test on day 1 (I was just trying to get thru the test to see what is was like). Didn't really take it seriously on day 1. I'll be OK.

When did you interview?

I'm a 1466. I recommend making flash cards for the flag man (PM me if you like, pretty sure I still have a .ppt that you can cut up), memorize UXLT-O, and go to the cogres website - CogScreen - and look at the test descriptions/examples. That worked for me.

1597 LPI. Not trying to brag, just want to point out how Lumosity is slightly biased to giving you a higher score the longer you play. I've been working Lumosity nearly every week day for about a year. As you progress with each skill, it will unlock higher levels. So when you first start out on a new "game" or skill set, you are falsely limited from scoring at your maximum. The more times you see that game, the higher your score will progress.

My score improved dramatically over the first two weeks of playing. Like Wallace said, there seems to be an inherent point advantage from continued and consistent playing. My advice? Have fun with the Lumosity games, but study Waldo's gouge!

Oh good God, are you serious? I'd never enter the Airline World if I had to do that crap!
