As many of you know, several carriers are requiring us to use Airline Apps for the application process.
Early in the process, there is a self disclosure section titled Equal Opportunities Act. This section asks for gender, date of birth, race, disability, and veteran status. I can choose the appropriate boxes, or, selection NO, to "do you wish to answer the following".
By selecting no, are we being precluded from any further consideration?

Yes if your are a female and a minority. Otherwise your discretion.

Arguable not the best answer, as I played the minority card for two years (legitimately so), not even a nod. I unchecked some boxes, and the calls, and emails poured in. Companies like UAL don't know who they're dealing with, until you show up on property.
