Can't imagine it would make sense to park 74 classics when we supposedly have a shortage of lift capability now. Then again, I'm throwing logic into the equation which is my problem.

Not quite, talked to a 74 captain I went through training with, and our heavy MX in VHHH has been extended due to the A380 debacle. They are here until 2009, is the latest until the next "debrief"! Yes that was sarcasm.
