Anybody have any experience using the new wireless client at AOC and the ramps?

I was under the impression you needed to connect to the intranet via your network card to download, but I was told by a Mac guy (I have a pc) that it will still find the signal. Does this mean it's just a non-broadcasting SSID?

Thanks

yes, I applied for access, but no reply yet. I had access before, and everything worked fine. I understand their need to make changes, but they haven't communicated very well how to get reconnected. where can i plug in at the AOC? I tried one of the connections, but it may have been dead. I'm obviously missing something...

thanks for your help on this...

The <null> network is the only one available now -- the more accessible network was shut down the first week in February. Several of the ports in the AOC are dead -- just keep trying until you find one that works. Once you hook up and download, and get your ACP approval, you should be good to go with the instructions online.

Don't forget to set the Proxy if you want to access anything other than FedEx.com.

Thanks, FDXLag and Tony. I knew I should have put this on the ask Tony thread!

I guess approval only takes 24 hrs, but I didn't verify I had confirmation. No wonder I haven't heard anything...

I should be up and running shortly...
