2 CAPTs are going to end up in ANC. There a net of 52 SDF CAPT openings for 54 original SDF CAPT slots in the original realignment bid. The other 2 are going to the 747-400 in ANC.

I'm surprised there's still many Capts without a bid on file...some of them have probably been on the 727 so long, there was no CMS at the time...

A lot of those guys do not use CMS. They use the VRU for everything. Some of them are terrified about going to a new plane as they have been flying the 72 since the 70s. Many of the original contractors that UPS brought on are the senior 72 captains. |
they should go to the 747 classic then. A real "old man's" airplane. Still has an FE so they should feel real comfortable
