With a week to go until the big displacement, and 99% of them are bidding Domestic Aircraft. It looks like the majority are going over to the A-300. With the 757 being the second choice. I only saw one MD-11 bid. This is for the Captain side only.

Think there was one Miami in there as well...wasn't there a couple of DC-8s too?

what?? no one is going to anchorage?? amazing!!

Just talked to 4 72 fo's all say going to the 8.

It's very depressing. The QOL on the 727 has been amazing. We all are about to start working a lot more and making considerably less.

2 CAPTs to ANC
 

2 CAPTs are going to end up in ANC. There a net of 52 SDF CAPT openings for 54 original SDF CAPT slots in the original realignment bid. The other 2 are going to the 747-400 in ANC.

As I've said before.....

The MD11 schedules are TERRIBLE!!! Do not bid it under any circumstances!!! Although it has three engines, just like the 72, it is MUCH bigger, and scary!!! Trying to get a few hours of nappy time in the bunk is difficult on the VERY LONG LEGs, especially if you've just eaten one of your catered meals.:p

......the MD11 is scary, you must bid the a300 or 757 domestic. Trust me, I'm STUCK on one of these crazy 81 hour layovers in Sydney right now, and my FO just fell off his barstool AGAIN!! How will he be able to get his scuba mask on tomorrow with that egg on his forehead?

I NEVER had these problems when I was a DC8 or 727 captain. This darned MD11 is just too much work. Did I mention it's scary too??!:eek:
